Christopher Nolan and Warner Bros. are insistent on getting Tenet into theaters — COVID be damned. To keep the hype machine going, they’ve unleashed a new trailer — which debuted live on Fortnite — that has us salivating for the time-warping thriller.

Like the first preview that dropped in December, this latest trailer offers more eye candy and even more proof that this is, indeed, the “most ambitious film” Nolan has ever made. We’re still fuzzy on what the hell exactly is going on, but we know we want more.

Once again, the film centers around a spy played by John David Washington, who’s been tasked with preventing World War III. Only it’s not nuclear holocaust he’s trying to stop — it’s someone with the ability to manipulate time in a very unique, mind-bending way.

Washington tops a cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. With Nolan’s frequent collaborator Hans Zimmer occupied with Denis Villeneuve’s Dune adaptation, Grammy and Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian) has handled the Tenet score.

Watch below and grab a new poster shortly after. As you’ll notice, there’s no release date listed on the trailer anymore, only a coming to theaters tag. A source close to Consequence of Sound reports the film is still aiming for a July 17th release.

On the last Routes album “Tune Out, Switch Off, Drop-In”, Chris was joined by English drummer and old friend Bryan Styles (with whom he briefly played in a post-rock band at age 18). Whilst working on the album, Chris was playing around with some acoustic song ideas. He sent demo recordings to a few friends. Action Weekend Records said “Let’s make an album!”, Bryan came in on drums, percussion and glockenspiel and “ Miles To Go” was born! What? No fuzz!? That’s right! Today, ALA.NI released her video for the Adrian Younge-produced single “ Lament for Emmett Till ” (Amazon Original). The video was directed by ALA.NI and animated by RUFFMERCY, known for his music video work for Run The Jewels, Thom Yorke, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, and many more. The achingly-beautiful song was originally released on August 28th to memorialize the 65th anniversary of Till’s death. In “Lament for Emmett Till," ALA.NI recites a 1955 poem of the same name by the radical activist, journalist and organizer Claudia Jones over Adrian Younge’s lush, cinematic production.
