"An American Lie" Music Video by Rory D'Lasnow

Rory D'lasnow shared a powerful new video/single entitled "An American Lie", apropos of all the civil unrest we are experiencing. It is available on YouTube , Spotify , and all major streaming services. The video emphasizes the disconnect between civil rights and civil justice, using documentary style footage alongside himself in the studio. He believes it is our duty to right any cultural wrongs, and uses the visual and audio medium to bring home this point. D'Lasnow acknowledges the struggle and resulting advances, best he feels. We are all experiencing the shock and dismay at the injustices we are bombarded with daily, but few stand up to remedy it. "An American Lie" is both gripping and sensitive, truly a paradox of emotions after spending the past two years as an opening act for various artists. Brooklyn Rising to Unite Local Community with Event Celebrating the Construction of Ball Set to RISE on New Years Eve in Brooklyn

This Sunday June 28th from 2pm to 6pm at Sanders Studios - located at 525 Waverly Ave in Brooklyn - the Brooklyn Rising initiative, in conjunction with the Brooklyn Borough Hall, will be hosting a community event to herald construction of Brooklyn's New Year's Eve Ball - which is set to be RAISED via virtual celebration (featuring celebrity guests and special performances) on December 31st 2020; New Year’s Eve 2021! Founder of Brooklyn Rising, Local Brooklyn Entrepreneur James “Jay Hill” remarked, “A new united Brooklyn will RAISE the ball - and our goal is to do it big, as we usher in a new era. The New Normal.
