Rory D'lasnow shared a powerful new video/single entitled "An American Lie", apropos of all the civil unrest we are experiencing. It is available on YouTube , Spotify , and all major streaming services. The video emphasizes the disconnect between civil rights and civil justice, using documentary style footage alongside himself in the studio. He believes it is our duty to right any cultural wrongs, and uses the visual and audio medium to bring home this point. D'Lasnow acknowledges the struggle and resulting advances, best he feels. We are all experiencing the shock and dismay at the injustices we are bombarded with daily, but few stand up to remedy it. "An American Lie" is both gripping and sensitive, truly a paradox of emotions after spending the past two years as an opening act for various artists.
