We are psyched to premiere another juicy stunner from the radio hot collaborative project of Sammi Rae & Los Vegas. The glimmering "Closer" is the sure-to-be-hit-single from the duo's consistently spectacular releases thus far. This hypnotically swaying and dreamlike track finds the duo once again exploring their love for dance and pop music, as well as the trance-like video presents the balance between light and dark, love and distance. It's uniquely choreographed and beautifully shot with elegance in flashing technicolor. All the ingredients and flavors that make up the perfect top 40 hit are mixed in this song. Sammi Rae - who has been praised internationally by critics and fans alike for her strong voice and sultry demeanour - hit the charts earlier this year with the debut single “Nunca”, and on several releases alongside singer Los Vegas, where their back and forth call and answer formula between the female/male and english/spanish is implemented precisely, creating a classic connection that’s undeniable in any language.

Mark E. Smith once said, “The Fall is me and your gran on bongos” (or something along those lines). Undergoing numerous member changes, Chris Jack has led The Routes for 14 years. The albums “In This Perfect Hell” and “Dirty Needles and Pins” could have been classified as solo albums, where the “band” was just Chris, and drummer Jonathan Hillhouse. On the last Routes album “Tune Out, Switch Off, Drop-In”, Chris was joined by English drummer and old friend Bryan Styles (with whom he briefly played in a post-rock band at age 18). Whilst working on the album, Chris was playing around with some acoustic song ideas. He sent demo recordings to a few friends. The Long Island International Film Expo (LIIFE) is the premiere filmmaker community on Long Island, and one of the most respected festivals of its kind in the world; showing almost 200 short and feature-length films in many different genres each year. The video was directed by ALA.NI and animated by RUFFMERCY, known for his music video work for Run The Jewels, Thom Yorke, Danny Brown, Earl Sweatshirt, and many more.
